How to Draw a Cartoon Gorilla - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Let's draw a gorilla! First we will be tackling the face and mouth. Draw a circlular shape with the top having the shape of a heart. Towards the bottom of the circle, add a small oval shape for the mouth.
Step 2: Up at the top right underneath the heart shape, place two small dots for the eyes.
Step 3: Next, we want to add the head. Above the heart shape, add a curved dome with some funky lines for the hair. Leave a small indent off to the right of the dome.
Step 4: In the small indent, add another small dot for the gorilla's ear.
Step 5: Time for the body! Right below the head in the center, draw a very small vertical line. Right above the ear, draw a horziontal line that curves downward to represent the back.
Step 6: How about we draw some strong legs? Start at the left of the head and draw a vertical line. Close by off to the right, draw a parallel line and finish the front leg by drawing one more parallel line off to the right, but this one should start a bit further down. Repeat the previous steps for the back legs, however, the three vertical lines should be shorter in length. At the base of the front and back legs, add small circles for the feet and toes.
Step 7: Lastly, we want to connect the front and back legs with a curved horizontal line to give the gorilla a stomach.
