The Least Pygmy Squirrel is a member of the mammal family and the scientific term for them is Exilisciurus exilis. As their proper name suggests, this is among the smallest species of squirrel in the world. Another common name for this animal is the Plain Pygmy Squirrel, and is a native to Asia. They are in the Sciuridae family because they have a medium size for a rodent.
