How to Draw a Cartoon Jaguar - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: We will begin with the head of the jaguar. Make a circle with slightly jagged lines on each side. Keep a small space at the base of the head.
Step 2: Now, at the top of the head, add in two cones on each side. These are the ears. Add a line directly through the middle of both.
Step 3: Underneath the ears in the middle of the head, add two dots next to one another for the eyes.
Step 4: Now, in between the two eyes, move down a bit and add in a downward dome and right underneath that, add another triangle. Lastly, add in two small dots. These will represent the nose and nostrils.
Step 5: Off the base of the nose, add two curved lines in the opposite direction. Add a small line adjacent to these lines at the end. Now, draw in two vertical lines to connect the mouth to the chin of the jaguar.
Step 6: From the chin, draw in a vertical jagged line. Next, off the right side of the head, add in a horizontal curved line that curves downward at the end.
Step 7: Now it's time for the legs! Begin off to the left right under the jagged vertical line. Draw in a diagonal line and add a parallel line off to the right. Add another set of short vertical lines off the one you just draw. Now move to the right end of the jaguar and add a curved dome with three vertical lines coming off of it. Two should be off to the left and one should be off to the right. Add one more vertical line to the right-most part of the jaguar. At the base of all the line sets, add in small vertical lines and connect them all with a singular horizontal line. These are the toes of the jaguar.
Step 8: Now, add in a curved horizontal line to connect the legs.
Step 9: Off the back of the jaguar, it's time for the tail. Add two parallel diagonal lines and connect them at the base with a curved line.
Step 10: Let's add personality! Cover the jaguar's body with large dots and fill them in. Big, small, whatever you want!
