How to Draw a Cartoon Puma - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Begin with the head. Draw a diamond shape with rounded corners, leaving a space at the top.
Step 2: Draw in the ears with rounded points on each side of the space at the top of the head and the curve for the top of the head in between.
Step 3: Next you'll draw the face. Draw two almond shapes a short distance below each ear and a small upside down triangle below them for the nose. Then draw in a “W” shape for the mouth connecting the center part of the “W” to the point on the triangle and each side of it to the sides of the head.
Step 4: Next you'll draw in the back and chest portions of the body. Draw a curving horizontal line beginning just below the ear on the right side and add in a diagonally curving line under the left side of the jawline for the chest.
Step 5: Now draw long loop with a hook at the bottom for the tail.
Step 6: Now you're going to draw the legs and belly. Start by drawing a curving diagonal line extending downward from the chest and ending with a horizontal bend. Draw a loop that bends after a short distance to extend upward for the other side of the leg and add in a couple small curves going up from the bottom of the foot. Then you will add in a barely visible curve and a small loop at the bottom for the other front leg. Draw a curving horizontal line for the belly. Now draw the back legs, using a line shaped like a straightened “S” that curves around to form the foot and then back up to form the back of the leg. Draw in a small curve for the toe and a loop extending from the toes upward to the knee of the leg and only barely visible.
