How to Draw a Cartoon Salmon - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Start by drawing the head. Draw a diagonal line with a hook that connects into a wavy horizontal line that forms the mouth. Then draw in another diagonal line with a hook-shaped part that connects to the mouth and extends to the right and bends into a curve to connect to the other diagonal line once it is slightly longer than the top part, forming the top and side of the head. Then add in a loop for the inside of the mouth connecting to the top lip on both sides for detail.
Step 2: Now draw a filled-in circle for the eye, leaving a small semi-circle cut out along the bottom.
Step 3: Next, you'll draw a thin horizontal loop for the side fin extending out to the right from the lower part of the head.
Step 4: Now you'll draw the body. Start by drawing a long vertical curve beginning from the top of the fin and then adding in a diagonal curve for the middle of the back that extends out past the curve for the belly to form the fin on the top of the body. Next you'll add in another curving diagonal line that begins at the top of the head and has a hook opposite the head. Add in two curving horizontal lines and a small triangular fin on the top to complete the body.
Step 5: Finally, you'll draw the tail fin. Begin by drawing a curve that connects the top of the body and the bottom of the body and then add in many small horizontal lines in a sideways right-facing āVā shape.
