Step 1: Begin with the merlin's eye. Draw a semi-shaded circle with a curved line on top and another on the bottom.
Step 2: Add the beak by drawing a circle with a pointed end.
Step 3: Add the head and body by drawing an upside down "U" shap around the eye and beak.
