How to Draw a Cute Tui - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Begin with tui's beak. This can be drawn as a curved triangle.
Step 2: To add the head, draw a curved line from the top of the beak, moving up and then curving back down. Below the beak draw a zig-zag in the shape of a semi-circle.
Step 3: Add the eye by drawing a semi-shaded circle on the head.
Step 4: The wing can be drawn by extending a curved line down and away from the base of the head, then back up like a curve "V". Two short lines are added for feather details.
Step 5: Complete the body by drawing a curved line down from the neck feathers, zig-zagging it slightly below the wing.
Step 6: Now draw the tail. This looks like three long "V" shapes connected to one another.
Step 7: Finally draw the feet by drawing two upside down bubble "Y" shapes below the body.
