How to Draw a Gorilla Head - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Begin with the head by drawing a curved line, then bringing that line down with 3-4 bumps, getting wider at the bottom. Then curve the line back in for the chin.
Step 2: Add the nose by drawing a bean shape, with two small ovals within, side by side.
Step 3: Draw the face shape by drawing a curved line up from the nose. If you have trouble, it should look a bit like two beans stuck together.
Step 4: For the eyes, draw two L-shapes from the top, beginning in the center and each moving toward one side. Below each "L", add a black oval, with a curved line beneath the left, and 3 beneath the right. Add three short lines in the middle.
Step 5: Draw the mouth by draw a curved line below the nose, like the gorilla is smiling.
Step 6: For the ear, add a slanted line at the back of the head, connected to a semi-circle. To complete the ear, a few curved shapes inside.
Step 7: Let's add some more detail by extending the top and bottom of the head back, and the jaw line up toward the ear. Add the shouldes by drawing a curved line from next to the right eye, two lines below the mouth, and on curved line from the left side of the head.
Step 8: Your gorilla is now complete!
