How to Draw a Lionfish - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Begin by drawing a pointed head, including the eye and mouth.
Step 2: Add a fin to the side that consists of many points.
Step 3: Now add a long arc for the top of the body, and draw more fins on top of it.
Step 4: Draw a fin with many lines on the back of the lionfish.
Step 5: Draw the tail fin.
Step 6: Draw a fin below the body.
Step 7: Draw another small fin near the tail fin.
Step 8: Finally, finish your drawing by adding many tiger-like stripes to the body of the lionfish.
Interesting Facts about the Lionfish
Lionfish have very distinct red and white bands that are elongated fan type fins. The colors are intermingled with white spots usually appearing toward the top. Dorsal and pectoral fins are transparent and covered in dark spots while the pelvic fins are black with white spots. Their young appear practically translucent except for very slight colorings of red and white.
