How to Draw a Swan For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Start with a circle for the swan's head. Leave space for the beak. Then draw two long, curved lines for the swan's graceful neck.
Step 2: Add an eye and a circle surrounding it. This area above the beak is generally black on swans. Next draw a pointed beak in the space you left open on the side of the head.
Step 3: Now draw a partial oval for the body. Leave an open space for the wings.
Step 4: Draw two long, thin legs and two webbed feet. These help the bird kick through the water when their bodies are gliding on the surface.
Step 5: Now draw an oval shape for the wing we can see. Add lines on the end to show its feathers.
Step 6: Finish your swan by drawing a half oval for a tail with lines to show tail feathers.
Step 7: You have successfully drawn a swan! Now think about adding some color or a background.
