How to Draw a Toucan For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Start with a circle for the toucan's head. Leave a space on one side for the big beak.
Step 2: Toucan's have large beaks that curve down at the end. Add this to the empty space you left on the head. Draw a curve on the end of the beak for its pattern. Add a circular eye and a small curve behind the eye on the face.
Step 3: Now draw a curve on the bottom of the bird for its chest. Add a small line on the back and leave a big space for a wing.
Step 4: Then add two thin legs and two feet. These help the toucan hold itself up on thin branches.
Step 5: Draw an oval for a wing. Add three lines to the bottom for the feathers.
Step 6: Finally, add a tail with lines on the end for the tail feathers.
Step 7: You have completed your toucan! They live in tropical places and have bright colors so add these if you plan to color your drawing!
