How to Draw a Baby Rat - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: First off, let's get started with the head and face. Start by drawing a half circle shape for the head. This rat hears something, so its left ear is perked up. Rats have very good hearing, so it probably heard a piece of food hitting the floor! So for this ear, draw a line that curves up and then back down to the head. Draw a small slope for the right ear. Draw two circles for the eyes. Then draw a little upside-down triangle for the nose, followed by two little curved lines for the mouth.
Step 2: Now, let's draw the hands. From the bottom of both sides of the head, draw two fairly long curved lines coming down. At the ends, draw small connected triangles for the fingers!
Step 3: Now the body is a bit easier. Draw a line down from the outside of the left hand and swoop around to meet the outside of the right hand.
Step 4: Now, let's draw come cute little rat feet. These are simple just like the body, just draw two little half ovals!
Step 5: Let's finish with the tail. Starting on the right side of body, draw two long curved lines upward that meet at the end. Draw little lines throughout the tail for the stripes. Your rat is done!
