Step 1: First off, let's get started with the head and ears. Start by drawing a large almond shape for the head. For the ears, draw a large triangle for its right ear and smaller triangle for its left.
Step 2: Now, let's finish up the face. For the eye, draw a large circle and fill it in. At the bottom of the head, draw a little half circle for the nose. Then, draw four lines on each side of the nose for the whiskers!
Step 3: Let's draw the back next. Starting from just below the top of the head, draw a curved line. Put little jagged edges at the beginning of the line for its fur!
Step 4: Now, let's draw the tail. Squirrels have a big fluffy tail. Starting from the back, draw a large jagged and curved line that swoops up and back down to just below the line you drew for the back. If you're having trouble, draw out the tail without the jagged edges first, then add them after.
Step 5: Starting from where you ended your tail, draw two more jagged lines to form the leg and arm fur. Follow the picture closely if you're having trouble.
Step 6: Next, draw the hands. Draw two lines from the arm over to just below the nose. This squirrel looks like it's holding something, what do you think its holding?
Step 7: To finish up, let's draw the feet. Starting from the leg, draw two lines outward, with little triangles at the end for toes. Do the same for the other foot. Don't worry if your feet are a little off, drawing feet is tough. Your baby red-squirrel is done! Now you can add some extra details! Red-squirrels have lovely red fur and a patch of white fur on their bellies.
