Step 1: Draw an oval that tapers at the bottom to form the head. A deer's head is rather small in comparison to its body.
Step 2: To draw the neck, draw a curved line that loops around from one side of the head to the other. Add two circles for eyes and an oval for the nose.
Step 3: Add a big circle around each eye - many deer have white patches of fur around their black eyes. Make each antler by drawing a banana shape with four other "bananas" branching off of it.
Step 4: Draw the body as three curved lines with gaps for the legs.
Step 5: Fill the gaps with the long legs. Make sure the hind legs are thicker at the top because they are the ones deer use to propel themselves forward as they run.
Step 6: Deer tails are fluffy, so add the tail as a big wide curve looping off the buck deer's backside.
