How to Draw a Catfish For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Draw the head as an ellipse with one elongated end and one flat end.

Step 2: Draw the catfish's "whiskers" as two sets of curved lines branching off the catfish's face. Add circles for eyes with thin shaded crescents to show lots of reflection. Add a curve for the mouth.

Step 3: Draw the body as a loop with a one pinched end and a gap for the front fin.

Step 4: Draw the five fins: two on top, two on the bottom, and one on the side. Make sure the side fin fills the gap you left in the body in step 3.

Step 5: Draw a tulip-shaped tail fin on the back point of the body.
