How to Draw a Cute African Elephant - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Start by drawing the head. Draw a rough square-shaped head with rounded corners. Make the bottom part narrower than the top part. Erase the middle at the bottom and draw an "S" shaped trunk. Make sure to twist it at the bottom and slightly pointed towards the end. Now erase the left side and draw a curved "U" shaped ear, Draw pointed ends at the bottom, for detail. Draw a cone-shaped right ear at the right side of the head.
Step 2: Draw the face by drawing two hollow circles for eyes. Shade in the eyes leaving two tiny hollow circles in both eyes for detail. Now add curved lines across the trunk for detail.
Step 3: Next, we draw the front legs. Draw a sideways "V" between the trunk and the right ear and draw two tiny circles at the end for nails. Now draw a curved line below the left ear for the left front leg and add two tiny circles at the end for nails.
Step 4: Now draw the back leg by drawing a curved line behind the left ear towards the left. Draw three tiny loops at the end of the back leg for nails.
Step 5: To draw the body, we draw a circular, curved line joining the back leg to the top of the head.
Step 6: Now draw a thin tail with a flame-shaped end behind the body, towards the left.
Step 7: Your African elephant is ready for color.
