Step 1: Let's start with the eye! Draw an oval to create the elephant's eye.

Step 2: Next, fill in a circle in the middle for the iris.

Step 3: Now, draw two curving lines for the eyelids. One on the top and one on the bottom. Draw them in opposite directions.

Step 4: Let's draw the head next. Draw one curving line from the elephant's eye outward. Now draw another line and create an arch towards the eye. Draw one final curving line connecting to the last. This will look bumpy but it's okay!

Step 5: Draw the elephant's mouth by creating a wide "W" shape connecting to the eye.

Step 6: Now add the trunk. Draw an oval, and then add two squiggly lines on either side. Connect the first line to the mouth. Connect the second line to the head.

Step 7: Draw horizontal lines in the trunk to give it its form.

Step 8: Add the tusks by drawing two long cylinder shapes connecting to the mouth.

Step 9: Draw the tongue by adding a triangle from the mouth! Add a line down the middle to make it look more realistic.

Step 10: Add the elephant's jaws by drawing a curving line under the head and connecting it to the mouth.

Step 11: Lastly, draw one big floppy ear next to the elephant's head! Draw a curving line in the shape of a rhombus.

Step 12: Your elephant is complete! Great job! Think about adding some gray color to the body for detail.
