How to Draw an Ant Head - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: First, draw a square for the ant's head, leave the bottom space open to add the mouth later.

Step 2: Next, draw the mouth! Add a claw-like shape in the open space on the left side to begin the ant's mouth.

Step 3: Add the same claw-like shape to the right side to complete the mouth.

Step 4: Now, add the a square between the mouth for the ant's shield.

Step 5: Draw the right antennae by drawing a long rectangle and connecting it to several small squares in a 90 degree angle.

Step 6: Draw the left antennae in the same way, remember to draw in a 90 degree angle to make it look more realistic.

Step 7: Draw two ovals on each side of the ant's head for its eyes. Add in curved lines on the inside of each antennae.

Step 8: Your ant is all done! Color it black or red.
