How to Draw a Killer Whale Head - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Begin with the head. Draw a slanting, curved "U" shape. If your have trouble, it also looks a bit like an upside down block letter "L".
Step 2: Add an arched line below the head, just one end connected to the head..
Step 3: In the open space between the head and arched line, add the right pectoral fin by drawing 3 triangles with long, skinny points connected to each other.
Step 4: Add the left pectoral fin on the other side of the arch by drawing a curved triangle.
Step 5: The dorsal fin should be drawn on the back of the head by adding another round pointed triangle.
Step 6: Draw a thin circle on top of the head for the blow hole, and a large oval on the head for the eye patch.
Step 7: Draw a dark dot next to the eye patch, and another on the other side of the head for the eyes.
Step 8: Your killer whale is now finished!
