How to Draw a Monarch Butterfly For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: To start your butterfly draw a tiny curved line with a larger curved line underneath.
Step 2: Add two circles for eyes so that the small line and the big line connects to each eye. Then add two lines with circles at the top of the head for antenna.
Step 3: Under the head draw a circle for the butterfly's thorax. Under that circle draw a long skinny ellipse for the butterfly's abdomen.
Step 4: Make a curved line on each side of the top of the abdomen for the upper wings.
Step 5: Add two curved lines connecting the upper wings to the body. These are the butterfly's bottom wings.
Step 6: To finish your butterfly draw a pattern of circles and dots on both sets of wings. Great job, your butterfly is done!
