Step 1: Begin by drawing the nose bridge using a short slanted line connected to a along curved line.
Step 2: At the bottom of the previous line, draw the nose by drawing an "S" line next to it. Draw a second "S" line a little to the left.
Step 3: An arched line should go around the outside of either "S" line to form the nostrils.
Step 4: Beginning from below the right nostril, draw a "U" shaped line down, then under and up beside the left nostril, for the mouth.
Step 5: Add the lower mouth by drawing a curved line just beneath the upper outh line
Step 6: Add the jaw by drawing two curved lines side-by-side, overlapping slightly. Draw the sides of the nose by adding two striaght lines on either side of the nose bridge, above the nostrils.
Step 7: Add an arch at the top of the nose bridge, curving back and left. On top of that, draw a triangle shape for the right ear, and a leaf shape for the left, with a line in the middle.
Step 8: Add the mane by drawing several zig-zag lines down between the ears, and going down behind the left ear.
Step 9: Draw a small oval on the left side of the nose for the eye.
Step 10: Draw a curved line coming up and over from the left of the eye. Shade a small circle within the eye. Below the bottom of the mane, add a short line. Draw slightly longer line below the mouth to complete the neck.
Step 11: Your mustang horse is now complete!
