Interesting Facts about the Palm Civet

The Palm Civet is primarily found in Asia and inhabits rainforests and jungles, but have also been seen in gardens and parks. Wild Palm Civets are facing habitat loss due to deforestation and the development of palm oil farms. Through all this though, the population is still remaining stable and has not been put onto the Endangered Species list. They are omnivores – eating lizards, frogs, fruit, coffee, insects, and sap. Predators include crocodiles, tigers, and lions.
