Step 1: Start with the face and eyes, making the beak curved sharply at the end.
Step 2: Next draw the the feathers around the neck, chest, belly and upper legs.
Step 3: Then draw in the outline of the wings, making them open wide.
Step 4: Next you'll draw in the feathers on the wings, making the ones near the back edges longer and making wavy lines about halfway up the wings for the smaller feathers near the front edge of the wing.
Step 5: Then draw in the short legs and feet.
Step 6: After that, you'll draw the tail feathers behind the legs and feet.
Step 7: Then draw in the talons on the ends of the toes.
Step 8: Finally, draw in more small feathers around the neck.
