How to Draw a Realistic Giraffe - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: First we'll start with the body. Draw an oval in the middle of the page.

Step 2: We'll add the head and neck now. Draw a long rectangle for the neck with an upside-down egg shape on top for the head.

Step 3: Now let's add details. Draw hair down the giraffe's neck, tiny ears, eyes and nose.

Step 4: Next draw the front leg. This is long and thin with a bump at the knee, and ends in a hoof.

Step 5: Draw the other front leg in the same way

Step 6: Add the two hind legs in the same way as the front legs, but with a wider bit at the top. Add a long thin tail with a teardrop shape at the end.

Step 7: Now you can add spots all over the body.

Step 8: Lastly, draw more spots on the legs.

Step 9: Well Done! You've finished your giraffe!!
