Step 1: First draw the shape of the head. Draw a backwards c-shape and add two dots for eyes at the bottom.
Step 2: Now for the neck, extend each side of the c-shape a little, and add a triangle on each side to make the flippers.
Step 3: Add some scale detail on the flippers.
Step 4: Next to draw the body, draw two curved lines next to each other, with two more little triangles on either side for fins.
Step 5: Add some scale detail on the fins and top of the body.
Step 6: Now add a tail by drawing a big triangle with a small triangle cut out of it.
Step 7: Add some scale detail on the tail.
Step 8: Finally, draw some large spots over the fish's back.
Step 9: Great work! Your Koi is done. Colour it in orange!
