How to Draw a Realistic Red Squirrel - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Start by drawing the ears which are two fuzzy long triangular shapes side by side.
Step 2: Draw the head by drawing a "U" beneath the ears, starting from the left ear and bringing it to the right.
Step 3: Now draw the eye in the middle of the head. The eye is a small circle filled in with black.
Step 4: Draw the whiskers by drawing small lines fanning out from the bottom left side of the head. Draw a few fanning out from behind the head as well.
Step 5: Draw the body by drawing a curved line started from the base of the right ear and coming down vertically.
Step 6: Now we draw the hands. Start by drawing a triangular apendage right below the head, ending in five small thin fingers. Overlap the outline to show another hand behind this one.
Step 7: Draw the legs by drawing a "C" shape below the hands and joining it to the body at the bottom. At the base of the curve on the left side, draw a long apendage with thin long toes and small dots at the ends for nails. Make another curved line behind the curve of the leg to show the other leg.
Step 8: let's draw the tail now. Draw a fuzzy "S" on the right side of the body connecting it to the bottom of the leg. Now draw another curved fuzzy line from the end of the tail and connect it to the top of the body beneath the right ear. Add a fuzzy curved line in the middle of the tail for detail.
