How to Draw a Realistic Turtle - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Start by drawing the head for which we draw an inverted "C" with a line for the mouth at the bottom and a dot for the nostril.

Step 2: Draw the eye by drawing a tiny hollow almond shaped eye with a dot in the middle and drawing several circular lines around it.

Step 3: Draw a rough rectangular shape for the neck. Draw several diagonal lines across the neck for detail.

Step 4: Now we draw the shell for which we draw a large semi-circular line above the neck and going towards the left. Draw another curved line below that and join it to both ends of the lines together. Draw small connected recatngles to form a line on the bottom of the shell for detail and draw few vertical curved line on the shell.

Step 5: Next we draw the feet. Draw a lopped line at the back below the shell and draw three tiny triangular toes coming from the end. Draw a "U" shaped foot right below the head with toes at the end. Now draw a curved loop below the front part of the shell and draw small toes at the end. Draw several lines next to theis foot for detail.

Step 6: Now we draw the bottom of the shell for which we draw a vertical line starting from the neck going towards the left and joining to the hind foot. Add several lines on it for detail.
