How to Draw a Squirrel For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Begin with an oval for the squirrel's head.

Step 2: Next, draw two small ears on the top of the circle. Inside the head add eyes, a curve for the nose, lines for whiskers, and a mouth.

Step 3: Add a curve for the back and a smaller curve below for the squirrel's belly. Leave spaces for the legs.

Step 4: Now draw the front legs up by the face in the space you left blank. Draw little circles for its paws.

Step 5: Your squirrel will be standing on its hind legs so draw a big circle in the other space you left open. Draw part of a circle on the other side for the last leg. Add feet to these.

Step 6: Squirrels have bushy tails so add this to the back behind the legs.
