How to Draw an Alligator For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: For the head, draw the snout as a pointed "C" shape and connect it to the cranium, which you'll draw a 3/4 circle.
Step 2: Draw two curved lines for the body. For the tail, draw a straight line at the bottom and a curved line at the top. Connect them together in a point to form the tip of the tail.
Step 3: Draw the alligator's fangs as a squiggly line that bisects the snout.
Step 4: Draw the alligator's scaly, bumpy back as two zig-zag lines running from the base of the head to halfway down the tail.
Step 5: Draw the alligator's left legs as two mirrored L-shapes, its front right leg as a closed-off half circle, and its rear right leg as a curved line.
Step 6: Draw the eyes as two big ovals with small ovals on the inside. Shade the eyes but leave two small dots unshaded at the top right to show a reflection.
