How to Draw an Owl Head - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: To draw an owl, begin with a wide triangle for the head.

Step 2: On either side of the head, draw a narrow, upside down "V" shaped line for the top feathers.

Step 3: From the top of the head, draw an oval around the bottom to the other side of the head. In the bottom middle, draw a pointed cone shape for the beak.

Step 4: Draw a large circle on either side of the head, with large shaded circles within them, leaving small white spots in the center.

Step 5: Outline the heads shape with an oval, leaving only a small amount of white space. Add some looped lines to the head for detail.

Step 6: To draw the feathers of the neck, draw a curved line down from either side of the head and curve them up. Add a few more "V" shaped lines here for the feathers. From the side of the head, draw a short line straight out.

Step 7: Your owl is complete!
