Step 1: Begin with the pheasant's beak. This can be done by drawing a small bean shape.
Step 2: Now, draw the head. Begin by drawing a circle connected to one end of the beak. Trace a semi-circle around this, with a small point at one side for feathers. Another curved line is added to the bottom.
Step 3: Within the initial circle of the head, draw a much smaller circle for the eye.
Step 4: Now draw the wing, by drawing a large "U" or vase shape, beginning from the bottom of the head. At the bottom, draw several short lines for the feathers.
Step 5: Next, draw the body by drawing another curved line down from the other side of the head until it connects to the wing.
Step 6: Now, draw the tail. This is done by drawing a "V" from below the wing, and adding several lines within it from top to bottom.
Step 7: Finally, draw the legs and feet by drawing two thin rectangles from below the body, that end in star shaped webbed feet.
