How to Draw a Dragonfly Face - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Lets Start by drawing the clypeus which is a curved line with curved ends on both sides forming circular spaces.

Step 2: Draw hollow circles inside each hollow sides of the clypeus.

Step 3: Draw a curved line to join both sides of the clypeus and draw a curved "T" shape for labrum inside it.

Step 4: To draw the eyes, draw two loops on both outer sides of the clypeus and draw a curved line to join them above the clypeus. Leave a little space in between the eyes.

Step 5: Now we draw the mouth. Draw a curved line below the labrum and another one outside of it. Now draw a small triangle in the middle. This is the mouth of the Dragonfly.

Step 6: Draw an upward pointed triangle at the top middle of the clypeus. This is the ocellus.

Step 7: For drawing Frons,we draw two triangles on each side of the ocellus.

Step 8: Now we draw the vertex. Draw a small triangle on top of the frons in the space left earlier between the eyes.

Step 9: Draw two lines apearing outward from each side of the vertex. These are the antennae.
