Step 1: Begin with the right ear, drawing a cracked egg shape.

Step 2: Add a triangular cylinder to the left of the right ear. This will be the left ear.

Step 3: From the end of the left ear, continue a long curved line down, ending in a pointed heart shape. This is the nose.

Step 4: To add the mouth, draw a small semi-circle below the left half of the nose, then close it off with a square bottomed "U" shape that comes out to the right of the nose. A small semi-circle goes beneath this, and a longer backwards "L" is drawn from the side of the "U".

Step 5: Draw the eyes, adding a dark round bump to the left of the head, and a dark oval shape to the right. Add several lines around the right eye for details.

Step 6: Add the whiskers by drawing lots of short lines around the nose and mouth, with just a few around the eyes.

Step 7: Draw the neck by add a long line from beneath the right ear, and a short one beneath the mouth. Add a jagged and a curved line in between for fur.

Step 8: Your kangaroo is complete!
