Step 1: Begin by drawing an oval for the eye, with a smaller oval inside of it. Shade a dark circle in the inner oval.

Step 2: Above the eye, draw a crescent shape with several lines through it. Continue the lower line of the crescent around the eye, and add a curved line just above the eye, below the crescent.

Step 3: Leaving some space around the eye, draw the head. This looks a bit like an arrowhead, or a triangle with bumpy sides.

Step 4: At the front of the head, add a small, shaded circle for the nostril, and then extend a line back from the top of the head, and another back from the bottom of the head.

Step 5: Draw lots of random shapes, such as circles, ovals, and triangles all over the head and neck for the scales.

Step 6: Your lizard is finished!
