How to Draw a Rose Tree - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: First, draw the trunk. Draw a small slightly curved out line and draw a small line toward the inside. Repeat this going up until you have a long line. Leave a space and do the same thing but the opposite direction.

Step 2: Now, draw the roots. Draw a few small slanted lines coming out of the bottom of your trunk.

Step 3: Next, draw the stems. Draw a long line of spikes that go out, from the top of the left side of your trunk. Draw another one of these lines the same size as the last right next to other line that connects at the top and the bottom. Do the same steps coming out of the right side of your trunk.

Step 4: Then, draw the leaves. Draw a small curved line coming out of the side of your branch on the left side. Draw a medium sized pointed oval at the end. Inside of your pointed oval, draw a line going through the middle with tiny lines coming out of the sides. Draw two more of these on the right side of your branch. Repeat steps on the right branch.

Step 5: Lastly, draw the Rose flowers. From the top of your stem on the left, draw a line of small spikes straight across. On the left of your spiked line, draw a pointed oval and another pointed oval on the right side. Make sure the ovals touch in the middle. Draw a skinny sideways oval on top of the pointed ovals you just drew. Draw a smaller sideways oval on the inside of your big oval.
