How to Draw an African Elephant For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: To begin, draw a" C" shape pointing downward for the head.
Step 2: Draw two circles for eyes about halfway down the head. Only shade a crescent shape on the bottom half of each eye to create a reflection on the eye. Draw two lines for the trunk that are connected by curved line on the elephant's face. The two lines converge toward the elephant's nostrils, which you'll draw as a circle with two dots inside.
Step 3: Draw the African elephant's huge ears as curved lines on each side of its head. Draw the tusks as cones between the ears and the trunk.
Step 4: Draw the body as three curved lines. The empty spaces will be where the legs connect.
Step 5: Draw the legs as parallel straight lines running down from the body. Connect the lines at the bottom with four circles for the elephant's toenails.
Step 6: For the tail, draw two parallel curved lines for the tail and connect them to a cone at the tip of the tail.
